Is Musk scared of Zuckerberg?

Musk doesn't seem to be in the mood to fight Zuckerberg after challenging the latter to a boxing match. According to Zuckerberg, Musk has been delaying the match and doesn’t seem interested in having the bout.

ā€œI think we can all agree Elon isn’t serious and it’s time to move on,ā€ said the Facebook cofounder.

The match almost became official last month after Dana White offered to make it a legit competition and Musk announced plans to stream it live on X, formerly known as Twitter.

ā€œIf Elon ever gets serious about a real date and official event, he knows how to reach me. Otherwise, time to move on. I’m going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously,ā€ Zuckerberg concluded.

It seems that everyone interested in seeing the billionaires have a go at it will have to wait, esp Dan White, who said the fight could bring in $1 billion in Pay-per-view.

Elon responded

Right after Zuckerberg’s comments, Musk responded promising ā€˜he’d show up at Zuckerberg’s home for the fight.ā€

However, fans will have to wait because ā€œMark is traveling right now and isn’t in Palo Alto,ā€ a spokesperson for Zuckerberg at Meta, Iska Saric, tells The Verge. ā€œAlso, Mark takes this sport seriously and isn’t going to fight someone who randomly shows up at his house.ā€

Where’s this story heading? We’re excited to find out.

Apple set for a boost?

After a mixed earnings report, it seems that the world’s biggest brand is set for an exceptional quarter and an exciting 2024.

The company is expected to release a variety of new products in September, including the new iPhone and its Apple Watch Series 9. However, all eyes now are on the 2024 lineup, which promotes thrilling products, including Watch X, to celebrate the company’s 10th year anniversary.

The X model is expected to not just feature a thinner case but also the ability to measure blood pressure. If true, this will revolutionize the medical industry and give Apple the much needed boost.

Though new estimates are yet to arrive, some experts predict the stock to hit the $250 mark by the end of 2024. The stock is presently trading at $179.03.

Here’s how much crypto Trump owns

Source: CoinTelegraph

According to a recently released filing with the U.S. Office of Government Ethics, the former president holds about $500,000 in crypto.

This comes as a surprise to many as the billionaire isn't considered a 'fan' of digital currencies despite releasing a collection of NFTs last year.

Trump, however, isn't the only popular person who owns cryptos. Other big names such as Kanye West, Mike Tyson, Snoop Dogg, and Elon Musk have also made significant investments in digital currencies.

Three types of income

In this section, we usually provide tips to make your financial life easier. But, today, we’re going to highlight the three types of income. Having this information will allow you to understand how to make money and which type of income to focus on.

Most experts believe that we should focus on having multiple sources of income as they increase the chances of a secure future with a diversified income.

Let’s now have a look at the three main types of income and how you can benefit from each one.

Earned Income

Your earned income is typically your primary source of income; however, this doesn’t always apply. For example, a retiree may have another primary source of income. So, to make it easier, we'd say this is the type of income that you actively work for.

This type of income is usually fixed and heavily taxed. Also, you can control how much 'earned' income you earn as it's linked to factors such as your experience, education, and the hours you work at your job.

Nonetheless, benefits usually begin to decrease after a point as there are only so many hours in the day. On the plus side, this type of income offers mental peace since it's guaranteed but it keeps people very busy and often leaves them with less time to give to other important things in life.

Investment Income

As the name suggests, this is the type of income generated through investments such as stocks, real estate, and bonds.

This income is not guaranteed as you only make money when your investment increases in value, which may not always happen. Real estate, for example, typically grows at the rate of 3% annually, but the housing market occasionally loses value, so take the risk and volatility into consideration.

A lot of people hire the services of an investment manager to make things easier since investment income needs to be managed properly. It’s a lot about timing – when to buy and when to sell - and how long to hold. (Most people sell way too early.)

Though more tax efficient than earned income, this type of income is also taxed in the form of 'capital gains'.

Passive Income

Passive income refers to money you make without actively working. This type of income is highly sought after as it offers great flexibility and the ease to live a care free life.

Many retirees live on passive income and a large number of countries offer passive income visas. Some great sources of passive income include royalties, YouTube payments, and interest earned on your money.
